I would advertise in the newspaper what you found...Try to see if its a locket that opens up, some of the antiquated pieces are very good not to reveal lockets...look for a fine line around the border...If it is a locket with pictures inside, I'm a genealogical researcher and if I had photos of the two faces, I could run a program that will use Facial recognition software and possibly get a hit...I would definitely try to find either owner...if you need help, please PM me...That's a true love story, I bet it goes back to either WWI, or WW2...Blessings to you!
